You do not have to create a special CV for your application to Kaupthing Bank, but there is certain basic information we would like to see included. A good CV will demonstrate some sort of career direction and should be used to present yourself as the best candidate for hire.

Here you will find a very basic example of the kind of CV we would like to see. Your CV may certainly include other elements, but your CV should not provide less information than this sample:

• Any degrees or certifications attained.
• The time spent at these institutions.
• Any commendations awarded with the degree (e.g., with honors or cum laude).

• Place of work.
• Name of position.
• Time spent in position.
• Any other relevant information on the position or the place of work.
• Please limit these entries to those pertinent to the position for which you are applying.

• Language skills (please list native, fluent, sufficient, and reading capabilities).
• Computer skills.
• Other certified skills.

• When pertinent to your application please list skills you possess.
• Commendations from place of work.
• Citations from professional or academic organizations.
• Grants.
