About RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows the user to see when sites from all over the internet have been updated with new content. With an RSS news reader program users can retrieve the latest headlines and articles (including audio files, photographs and video) from any site with an RSS feed as soon as the content has been released without having to visit each site.

To start using RSS feeds the user must download and install a news reader. This is software that checks the user’s subscription websites for new RSS feeds and retrieves the relevant new content.

Once the news reader is installed, all the user must do is decide what content to keep up to date in your news reader by finding and subscribing to the relevant RSS feeds.
